Shitty blog

Alright, so I admit it, that last review was shit. I'll definitely make a spoiler review going more in depth with the director, writing, and characters.  bye

Suicide Squad--Review

Suicide Squad is a movie about taking the worst metahuman's, and getting them to do the dirty work. Since they are bad people, according to Amanda Waller(head of the government operation),they are expendable. This movie had a lot of plot holes, and seemed a little rushed at times. Overall, I did enjoy the move, and would totally see it again. I had a fun time, even tho at times some of the scenes didn't really fit. More of the joker would have been better. He was a little over the top in some scenes. It reminded me of the silver age joker mixed with Jack Nicholson's take. I give it a B-,and recommend seeing it if you are a fan of DC.. I didn't know if I was going to do this review or not but I did. I know I didn't go to into more of the characters but that would take forever, so there might be a second review coming containing spoilers.;) It depends if I feel like it or someone ask me. Alright, well I'll see you guys later.

Where I am Right Now, and What to Expect

I kind of found a writing partner. Were figuring out what we want are character to be and where we  want the story going. I've been really tired so I really haven't finished the review for "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane". It's halfway there, so it will be done either Friday or sometime before that. After that I'll do "Stranger Things", the television show created by Ross and Matt Duffer. I may or may not have spoken to Ross Duffer but I'm not sure. It's kinda complicated. Another story for another blog post. Anyway, my riding partner(who I'm going to call Lemon) and I, have decided what genre we want. Dark comedy, bordering on drama. Hopefully I'm funny enough for this. We'll see. Until next time, boo.:*

Bad Moms--Movie Review

Bad Moms is a comedy directed by Jon Lucas, and Scott Moore, starring Mila Kunis and Christina Applegate. A working mom(Mila) struggles to be perfect while raising her two kids and her man-child of a husband(David Walton). I'll keep this review spoiler free since it is a new release. While I did enjoy this movie, I saw it with my extremely Catholic mother, so it was a little rough to watch at times. It had some nudity, and as expected from an R-rated comedy, it had several F-bombs throughout the movie. Don't get me wrong, Bad Moms was funny. I enjoyed myself the whole time, even if I was a little uncomfortable that my mom was right next to me. This movie did have flaws. Some people could have found this movie a little draggy, and not all of the jokes work. My biggest flaw was actually a character played by Kathryn Hahn. I've seen her in other roles playing almost the same character. Most of the time it was very over the top and didn't provide any original humor, mostly revolving around overly sexual jokes. Sometimes it worked, mostly it didn't. Another problem I had were the kids. If you already don't like kids in movies, you'll definitely hate Amy's(Mila) children. Other than that, and the predictable ending, I really enjoyed Bad Moms, and I would recommend seeing it as long as you're okay with crude humor, and lots of swearing. I would rate this movie a B-.
I think I'm going to review the show "Stranger Things", and "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" pretty soon, so be sure to check those out whenever I get those out. Thanks for reading. :)Dude real talk, if I have any grammar issues just call me out and I'll correct it.I don't really proofread. Thanks brosiahs.

Reviewing Movies??

Well, I've been writing a lot tonight on other things. Since this is a movie blog, I wanna expand on this by doing some reviews on movies, and possibly series. I've been inspired by movie podcast, and movie youtubers like "How Did This Get Made", and Chris Stuckmann. I wanna learn more about the craft.  I know nobody really reads this, and that most of the views, if not all of them, are me. I figured, why not start reviewing movies on the side while I also hunt for a writing partner(we could be bros man). I wanna show you guys I'm committed to something. So at least once a month, maybe more,if I find the time. Right now, I'm thinking I'll do older movies instead of newer releases because I'm poor. I'm to go see suicide squad tomorrow, but I think it would be weird if I went on a  date ( yes a date;p)with a notebook, taking notes. I'll get started on looking for a movie, either on netlfix or direct tv on demand. I'll tell guys what movie I'll watch. I'm gonna go ask tumblr what movie I should watch. Talk to you in a bit. :)
